Structured training. Real development. Martial arts are the tools we use to build confidence, resilience, discipline and practical self-protection.

Students training CQS / KAPAP-Krav at The Black Belt Foundation Chorley
Every student starts here

CQS / KAPAP-Krav

The common foundation

One Foundation For Every Student.

CQS / KAPAP-Krav is not a separate style to choose. It is the shared foundation every TBBF student builds on.

It develops practical self-protection, awareness, movement and decision making, progressively and safely. Students work towards clear goals, recognise their progress and keep challenging themselves, whichever Student Journey they follow.

Selectable skill routes

Choose The Skills You Want To Build.

Once the foundation is in place, students add the routes that suit their goals. Every route sits inside the same development system and Pathway.

Specialist Training

Expertise across specialist disciplines

Our instructors bring experience across specialist areas, including modern and traditional weapons, Tai Chi and Light Sabre. Specialist sessions let students extend their skills once their foundation is in place.

More than technical progression

Recognised Standards. Real Progress.

Belts recognise technical development. Student Journeys, character-focused Quests and Leadership Pathways show the wider progress each student makes.

Our instructors complete safeguarding, DBS, first aid and continuing professional development through professional organisations including BMABA. Meet our instructors.
